There is barely a traditional recipe I can think of which is not included and updated in this book.It contains hundreds of dishes, not all suit the vegetarian but those which do are very helpfully labelled.

This is the sort of book which you can didp into time and time again, particularly if you want to impress your guests with a fabulous pudding. Try the 'Bread and Butter Pudding' to see what I mean. The spongy texture and custard filling improve the original dish no end.

Rhodes' style is clear and simple yet full of enthusiasm and brimming with knowlefge of the food he so obviously loves.

If you still need convincing that this is one to enjoy, the 'Vegetarian Cheese and Onion "Sausage" Rolls' should make up your mind.
